Every day is a good day when chocolate is involved. (That’s our motto at least.) So you can bet we’re excited about any supplement line that combines good-for-you ingredients with one of our favorite treats. Chocolate is known for delivering iron, copper, and magnesium, among other nutrients, and the Harvard School of Public Health notes that the plant chemicals found in cocoa (called flavanols) have been shown to “support the production of nitric oxide (NO) in the endothelium (the inner cell lining of blood vessels) that helps to relax the blood vessels and improve blood flow, thereby lowering blood pressure.” In short: chocolate can be a great addition to your diet plan, especially when you combine it with supplements for a double boost of nutrition.

The History of Good Day Chocolate

Good Day Chocolate was started by two self-proclaimed supplement geeks who happened to share an obsession with chocolate. Research began in 2010, when a plastic surgeon and ear, nose, and throat doctor started tinkering with supplements in his Colorado kitchen. Early iterations were lollipops infused with medications, but after working with a close friend on product development, the two settled on chocolate, believing the innate health benefits can be metabolized more effectively by our bodies as opposed to traditional pills or fruit-flavored gummies.

Good Day Chocolate Company Mission

Good Day Chocolate makes great-tasting supplements the whole family will love. If you’re tired of gummies, this alternative makes it easy to get a nutritional boost with the power of fair-trade chocolate. Good Day Chocolate is proud to partner with Smile Train, a nonprofit that does cleft repairs to help all children around the world smile.

Benefits of Good Day Chocolate

The most obvious benefit to Good Day Chocolate? It simply tastes great. That means getting supplements into your body (or the body of your family members) is super simple. Beyond the great taste, Good Day Chocolate was founded by doctors committed to improving the health of their patients. All the supplements are made with non-GMO ingredients—including fair trade dark and milk chocolate—and the supplements are colored with fruits and vegetables, not chemicals or artificial colors. All products are made in the United States.
