Snacking can sometimes get a bad rap. Perhaps that’s because many of the snack options offered by traditional grocery stores contain less-than-appetizing ingredients like preservatives, artificial colors and flavors, or an excess of sugar and salt. But snacking doesn’t have to be unhealthy. In fact, brands like LesserEvil want to remove the stigma attached to these between-meal bites by offering wholesome munchies, made with real, nourishing ingredients. But don’t think that means LesserEvil products are any less fun than traditional snack foods. From popcorn and puffs to chips and curls, this better-for-you brand has tons of items to crunch on by the handful. Here’s how LesserEvil is doing a world of good when it comes to snacking right.

The History of LesserEvil

With a goal of making better-for-you snack foods, LesserEvil got its start in 2005. The brand’s first products included potato puffs and low-carb kettle corn. In 2011, a new initiative was introduced to offer snacks that were not only lower in fat and calories, but also made with real, quality ingredients. Then in 2012, the LesserEvil factory opened in Danbury, CT. Through its own manufacturing, the brand is able to use better ingredients, control the integrity of its products, and provide local factory jobs.

LesserEvil Company Mission

The LesserEvil mission is simple: to make our world less evil by creating deeper connections with people, the planet and real, organic food. There isn’t a single product the brand produces that it doesn’t feel contains the very best ingredients possible for the best snacking experience. That means using just a handful of simple, clean ingredients that won’t clog labels or make them confusing.
