Just like balanced nutrition and a supportive movement routine, hydration is an essential aspect of our daily wellness. If getting your fill of plain water doesn’t seem very enticing, Liquid IV has convenient powders that taste like all your favorite fruits to spruce up your hydration game.

The History of Liquid IV

Before starting Liquid IV, Brandin Cohen was an aspiring golf player who hurt his shoulder in college. Forced to pivot, his injury opened the door for a career as an entrepreneur. After graduation, he began working in marketing for the Arizona Diamondbacks Major League Baseball team, where he noticed the players reaching for sugary sports drinks after practice. As a former athlete, he wanted to find an alternative. Braindin began studying the science of oral rehydration therapy, which was developed in the 1970s by the World Health Organization, and decided to bring this science to the masses.

Liquid IV Company Mission

Liquid IV offers hydration solutions that use the power of science to hydrate you better than water alone.

Benefits of Liquid IV

Inspired by the World Health Organization’s guidelines for treating dehydration, Liquid IV’s formulas deliver the key nutrients your body needs. Because the water we drink is absorbed in the digestive system via osmosis, Liquid IV uses the precise ratio of sodium, glucose, and potassium to allow the water to be absorbed even earlier in the digestive process. One serving provides 2-3x the hydration of water, and everything is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free.
